If you peeps are astute and check the To The Bones myspace often you'll be able to check out some new shizzz. I.e some live session tracks we did on our day off when we were on tour with those auzzzzie delights ' the butterfly effect '. We're on our third now, but they're only going up one at a time. So far we've had new tracks , MONSTER - ASTRAL MAGIC - and now working titled "XXX 3" ( this ones up right now! so check it out - but not for long! ). TO THE BONES = THICK in the demo stages right now.
Cheers to all the peeps that showed up at Reading and Leeds Festival 09 to catch TTB, we had a blast. Got some new shows actually, really good ones too. There's only 3 as we're busy as hell writing the greatest rock n roll music of all time.
Friday September 25th in Manchester - A free entry gig at The Ruby Lounge. Very sexy venue, great sound, To The Bones Headline + Special Guests, hosted by BBC Introducing Manchester. - BANGING. We love manchester, one of the greatest citys in the world. There's nothing like getting a pint at a bar on Oxford road or nipping into Big hands or the temple bar for some GOOD Jukebox music.
Weds September 30th - CLUB NME BRISTOL @ STAND ON THE BUS. NME club night shizz, To The Bones will be spewing raw raucous powerz all over Bristols face.
Saturday October 31st - Ghost rockers halloween ball 5 2009 @ Club Kico Bolton. Kind of a big homecoming show we're doing. Ghost rockers halloween ball is something we started back in the day when we were doing our first early gigs. It grew into something quite popular...We've had awesome bands such as Oceansize , 80's Matchbox B-line disaster come to bolton and host it for us in the past. This time we're headlining our own night with support from Death Of London and The Capture. Fancy dress too.
Anyways big up to ye's, check out de tunes on Myspace - www.myspace.com/tothebones .

To The Bones - Duke Type A - Album (Medici Records)
Tuesday March 17th 2009, 1:44 am
Released in the fall, it’s taken us some time to get our hands on the debut album from the biggest thing in Bolton after Kevin Davies. You may have seen videos for standout singles ‘Rex’ or ‘Sharkbone Symphony’ adorning your TV screen in the meantime.
The fuzz-party-rock style evident in those two tracks runs rampant throughout the 10-track and makes for one hell of a ride overall. It’s as if Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and At The Drive-In are having a heated argument about their favourite Motorhead records. It’s the energy, tempo and all-round rock that those three bands embody, put together with a blessing of Seattle grunge.
Rhys Bradley’s vocals are at their finest on ‘Rex’, letting loose in raucous fashion with pained shouts and rasping cries. In a good way though - this is after all rock n’ roll, no matter what the lyric sheet says. ‘Tycho’ is Pixies at their most emotive. ‘Cay Augustina’ and ‘Ginza Blackjacket’ are distant relatives of Dinosaur Jr.
Namechecks that aren’t being used in exagerration. There’s no reason why To The Bones can’t enjoy some degree of success, and that they can’t leave their own musical milestone behind with a few more albums under their belts.
Already impressing the folks at BBC, NME and RockSound, the band should undoubtedly be breaking out of Bolton anytime soon. The real question is whether the rest of the world is ready?
FOR FANS OF : Pixies, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Nirvana.

End of March UK Tour round up.
***End of March UK Tour Round Up.***
Current mood: dorky
Well its been an eventful month to say the least...having been performing venues all over Britian crammed in the van with the gear. Last night we finished up in Guildford( down south ) at a cool venue named ' The Boileroom.' Cheers to all of you who were there and watched the show. We had a blast performing and even slipping in some brand new material that we've been in the lab working on which seemed to go down very well. We've got a lot more of that coming soon. The rock is getting dirtier and its out of our control......No seriously.....It is actually out of our control....- "rock chooses and we get the bruises." Don't take it lying down.
Our first March show was in Birmingham at a great venue named The Rainbow. The show was great and we had support from some cool bands. Not often i say this but one in particular called ' The Indigos' who im sure if they read this they'l comment with a link to their myspace.(they should do, be our guests.) Rock and the hooks. Thats how we like it. Keep your eyes peeled. We got fucking loaded with Jack Daniels and booze after that show and hit the floor. Nice one Carlo and Greg.
Next day we hit Southampton perform the Joiners on a cold cold quiet wednesday night on the south coast. Not much to report with this one.The show and sound was great, Chippies in Southampton give really generous portions you know?....I mean, REALLY big portions of chips for like £1.50, 1 portion could feed 65 people. Its insane....We headed off to London to rest and rejuvenate for the night.
We spent thursday in Camden in London, pints in the worlds end, wetherspoons next to the canal, 1 pound a drink, chinese food and music video brain storming sessions. As the sun goes down and the booze is well and truelly flowing through our systems, its uncanny who you can meet on your travels. We bump into residents of Windsor( where our show is to be the next night )pissed up buying noodles...who have no idea of the band...but come to the show never the less on our friday night in Windsor. Lovely meeting you's by the way....!
Friday we travel to Windsor to perform The Firestation which again was another great venue with lovely peeps there. Was very posh. It even had a receptionist and reception desk. The show was good and we enjoyed the support, punky, rockabilly type stuff. Was cool.
Saturday came to the day were we to perform and headline The Barfly in Camden London. This was a great show, we had a lot of fun playing this one and the place was blooody heaving.Cheers for the Bolton contingency of ladies travelling down to see the show and everyone else who was there watching the show. It was loud, rockin and we even shot some random video footage too which could see the light of day at some point in the future. C'est tres bone.
Sunday we hit Mansfield @ The town Mill, this venue rocks, was quite a cool turnout as well for the sunday night and we thouroughly enjoyed the show. The venue has the old 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster No Death Records Stage design backdrop on the bar. Its a big round thing. They like their rock in Mansfield. True Dat.
I'm now suddenly regretting starting this blog now.....I'm fucked.....still rough and tired from last nights show............i'l summarise.....
York was cool man. yeah .wow.hey weeeeeeeeeeee. This venue ( the duchess )is one of the best venues in the world.
Nottingham rock city was great too...........75p a jegermeister. sleep in automobiles, We had some of our Merch nicked as well......from our merch board of all places.........you little c***s better wear the shirts if you nicked em...;) The cheek.!
Water rats was diabolical...........horrible show. The friday the 13th of all shows. It was the kind of show that all bands have nightmares about. Yeah we got it full in the face. Lets not talk about that one ok. We even had gear taken by the another band by mistake and then had to drive out of our way to pick up next day.
The tour rockkkkkkkkked hard and was awesome apart from the water rats show..........................................we have a lot more dates coming up....and some other stuff we can't mention just yet, but very exciting! Come and see us at our next dates in April. We have our homecoming show @ BOLTON KICO CLUB on APRIL 9TH. Our friends are Burlesque dancers and they wanna perform too....so we're going to let them. A rammed homecoming show and Burlesque. See our myspace for ticket information.

Blog***New Video Shot for Lips On Red***
Blog***New Video Shot for Lips On Red***
Category: Music
Hello everyone.
We shot the new music video for our new single 'Lips On Red' over the past 48 hours. Probably one of our most ambitious projects we've worked on to date. We locked ourselves in a giant old factory complex which had several very spacious rooms and used a very cool technique called stop motion. The director pulled off what was a very detailed project and we're very much looking forward to showing you what we have made.
